Soroptimist International Elk Grove has added new opportunities to Fundraising in our Community to deal with COVID-19 in-person restrictions.

This year we added:

Fundraising with See's Candies graphicOur primary fundraising activity is our Annual See’s Candies Store Fundraiser.  In 2020, we did not sell Boutique items due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. We did, however, have a very generous member of our community allow us to use their vacant storefront for the 2 weeks our our sale! There were some bumps in the road with ordering/delivery issues, however, we were able to safely sell those delicious chocolates and brittle! Our community came out to support us and we are very grateful!

Big Day of Giving 2021 logoBig Day of Giving – Coming up on May 5, 2022.  This is our 6th year in a row participating in Big Day of Giving – an annual 24-hour community-wide movement that unites the region’s nonprofit sector to help raise unrestricted funds for the organizations that strengthen the capital area. Since 2013, the giving day has generated $52 million for more than 600 local nonprofits!

PAUSED – We also host an Annual Bunco Party to raise funds for our programs. Click Here

PAUSEDMartinis and Merriment at the SES Hall — We have had to pause this year’s fundraiser.  We hope to be able to host it again in 2022.
